CAER

Only in its second volume, this is one of our leading China-focused titles, in terms of its coverage, quality of papers and degree of commitment from the Editorial Team. This journal is published in association with the prestigious China Agricultural University which was winner of the Emerald Partnership Award this year.

Professor Xian Xin describes his and his colleagues’ reaction to the news:
“When I told my colleagues the great news that CAER was indexed by SSCI and SCIE they were too happy to believe themselves. They checked the website of Thomson Reuters from time to time to make sure. I did exactly the same.
It is pretty hard for a newly launched journal, less than two years old, to be indexed by SSCI and SCIE. CAER did it. The Editorial team, editorial advisory board members, and the Emerald publishing team have been trying their best to promote the CAER and take good care of this new baby. Most important of all, our excellent paper contributors and referees are making our baby stronger and stronger. The baby still has a long way to go and we all will take this news as encouragement to contribute more in the future. I trust more and more people and contributors will join us together to make CAER the channel through which agricultural economists, policy makers, and practitioners can communicate with each other to promote the livelihoods of people within China and around the world.”

Emerald now has two China-focused journals which are indexed by Thomson Reuters: CAER and Chinese Management Studies.
