 
 
January 12, 2013 New Year Forum of Agricultural Development is held at Jinma Conference Center in Beijing, which is organized by CRDP and MBA center. Officials, scholars and business representatives are gathered together to discuss China’s macroeconomic trends, agricultural enterprise development and agricultural investment issues. Mr. Chen Xiwen, who is the deputy director of the Leading Group on Rural Work of CPC and the director of CRDP, and Mr. Ke Bingsheng who is the president of China Agricultural University attended the Forum.
Ke Bingsheng made a welcome remark. He first briefly introduced the basic situation of our university and the rapid development in recent years. Then he pointed out China agricultural development faces severe challenges today and it is very meaningful for us to discuss the future development of agriculture together. He hopes that this forum can provide you with a communication platform for China's agricultural development.
Chen Xiwen delivered a keynote speech regarding China agricultural development after the 18th CPC National Congress. The executive manager of research department of CITIC Securities, Mr. Mao Changqing analyzed the future trend of China’s economy and the investment value of agriculture. Prof. Chang Qing and Prof. Fu Wenge also delivered their presentations respectively.
After the opening ceremony, there is a round table meeting. Senior managers from COFCO, Yihai Kerry, Yum and other enterprises seat together to discuss the issues of capital market, institutional innovation and agricultural development, agricultural industry integration and so on. |
